Yep...Prom time again. This year was rushed. Danny had to be over at Hillside Orchards where he helpd out with the ethanol display, so I took him there, then took off for Toccoa where Patrick got his learners permit. He was so happy that he couldn't stop looking at it for the first hour. Of course he sorta scared the lady taking the picture when he put his eyes really wide and smiled really wide and big...the lady jumped and said, "I think we'll just retake that one." Then we get home and I have 3 hours to do Amber's hair. Lucky for me I stayed up until 2 a.m. that morning putting the red streaks in. After spraying freeze hair spray and curling it, it still didn't look right to me, so we rdid it 4 times. So after a total of 60 bobby pins, 1/4 can of freeze hair spray, it looked pretty good...still not as well as I wanted it, but I was running out of time. Dean, her boyfriend, showed up at 3:00, but had to wait for the makeup and her getting dressed. The sparkles were fun!!!! I took her pink ones and threw them in her hair and on her body...needless to say Dean had a lot on his tux jacket. The funny part was her getting in and out of the redneck limo...(the pickup)...Dean had to pick her up and put her in, and then pick her up to get her out. If they're stll together next year, and she hasn't moved back to FL, then I get to do it all over again...or maybe we'll spend the $100 for the hairdresser to do it!!! Isn't Prom Time fun???
