The Result of Relay for Life/Cancer Bake Sale

After sitting in the shade of the awning at WalMart, and having fudgy brownies, cake like brownies, 2 chocolate cakes, 1 with white and 1 with chocolate frosting, and 2 white cakes, also the same kinds of frosting, we ended up donating $176.75 to Relay for Life. The tamales and flans sold better than our baked goods, but the highest seller of all was the Walmart personell who had 2 hot dogs and a soda for $1.50. They started at 11 and was finished by 1:30. We decided next year, we're grilling hot dogs and hamburgers and we'll do better. But then anything we give as a donation helps!
