Isn't Henry adorable????
Exactly a year ago Amber and I had been outside building "Henry" our snowman. We miss him and hope this year we get to actually build "Henry the Second". Actually it would be the third, but the second at the house we're at.

Just thought I would see how good the weather forecasters are. We're expected to have less than 1/2" accumulations, so I decided I would post pics and see how much we actually end up with.
Well, looks like they were pretty good actually. We had a nice coating on the porch and the grass when I went to bed around 2 a.m., hoping that when I woke up the warm air that had already invaded Atlanta and LaGrange would stay there and leave us in the cold, but alas, I was wrong. This morning is was snowing at a pretty good clip, had a winter weaterh advisory up and was all hopeful that we'd have a good time figureing out what to do with the snow....hands were intching to get into the snow and build that snowman....unfortunately, it started warming up and the snow turned to rain, and now, at 11:34 a.m., all the snow is gone, there are still some drops of rain sticking to the trees and everything is wet and damp. Our winter weather advisory will be gone by noon, a small section of rain will be moving in in the next two hours and our next shot of snow will come tonight...a 20% chance of snow/rain followed by Monday's small shot and Tuesday's 40% shot of snowshowers. Let's just say, no big hopes will follow....been burned this winter. Still have a good 6 weeks left for hope for a big storm......We'll have to see
