Mom's been sick these last few weeks, and from everything that was said, no one thought she would be getting better. Danny and I hoped at least she would see her anniversary, and she did. Mom & Pop have been married for 61 years. Mom is still really sick, but we're all praying for her recovery, even though it looks slim right now. Miracles are everything, and I won't quit asking for one.
Everyone should be as lucky as to have been married for as long as they have.
