Hello, and welcome to our first blog entry. We thought we'd tell ya'll a little about ourselves. There's Danny, Tammy, Amber, Brian, and Patrick. We moved from FL in Sept. 2006 to GA. It was strange getting used to the laid back atmosphere here. No rushing around if you can help it, just a small town feel. The kids of course have different opinions about that. Amber wants to go back "home" to FL. Brian, well, depending on what week it is, he either wants to stay or go back. Patrick, he wants to move to Finland. Don't ask me why, he's had it in his head for what seems like forever now. Danny and I love it here. In FL seemed like we were always on the go, and here, well, the farthest I go if I can help it is outside to sit in my swing and watch the dogs or cat play, listen to the squirrels playing tag in the trees or the birds trying to get food without the cat getting them. Right now, the leaves are changing colors and falling fast. It's my favorite time of year. You can just smell the freshness and crispness of the air in the morning. No smog, no car exhaust, just pure county air. Right now we have 7 dogs...Raskull, Jack Russell, and Dixie, half Jack Russell, half Boxer. Dixie had puppies on Aug. 25, 2007. We thought she was having 2, she had 5. There's Rebel, Poison, Summer, Caramel (Smack Mammy or Smackie as she's called a lot), and Krypto (Kryptomaniac) as she's called. Unfortunately, we can only keep 1, and it's hard choosing. We have a cat, 7 years old, named Bobbie, and a cockatiel named Camel. The house we live in we believe is haunted...not a lot mind you, but haunted just the same. Lights will turn on when the kids supposedly shut them off, doors slam closed or will creep open when there's no one near. We've heard "Mommy, mommy, mommy" coming from a child numerous times around midnight, and my daughter swears that after everyone goes to bed there are parties in the living room with laughing and talking going on. We named our ghost. His name is Henry. (Now, don't get mad Dad, but Henry just seeed the most appropriate name. You liked to play jokes when we were kids, so does he.)I hope ya'll come back and visit the site and read what's taking place in our lives from time to time.Have a great day and go out and do your bestTammy "Live for today, for yesterday is but a memory, and tomorrow is a distant dream of hope."
