Patrick turns 16

Patrick turned 16 on the 11th. Hard to believe that my youngest is that old! When the doctor delivered him, she said he had looked death in the face and won, that he would be a hellion, 6 ft. 2 in. and at least 220 pounds. Well, he is a hellion part of the time, the other part he is swet and plays his guitar, and goofs around, he's a little over 6 ft., but the 220 pounds, well, she missed that by a mile. He weighs around 145...but today he's already had 2 toaster scrambles and is having 2 mama mia pizzas. He would eat round the clock if he could!

Today it is "breezy", yeah, to me it's on the windy side and the high is supposed to be in the low 40's. We're anticipating Thursday...a 70% chance of snow! They're predicting up to an inch of sleet/rain/ice/snow, but anything to make me feel like a kid again is good! Of course by the time Thursday rolls around, there will be major changes and we'll be cut out of the the major precip and get a good soaking to where it's grey and drizzling all day to where you want to stay in your pajamas, curl up with a good book, some white cheddar cheese popcorn, and either read or nap all day. Or in Danny's case, lay on the couch and look for either a John Wayne movie, a Clint Eastwood western or any mobster movie...yeah, mobster. I don't mind John Wayne, in fact I love his movies...Clint Eastwood, well I like 90%, but the mobster movies, they just have to go! I'll take the good book, or if my brain was working correctly, I'd write on the computer to get all these snippets of books I have in there on disc!

Well, hopefully everything goes as planned and we get our first good snowfall of the year, but if not, we have at least 1 1/2 months to hope for some.
