First of all, a note to all, I had downloaded a new checking system on my computer and it wouldn't let me post anything on blogger, or when I did, wouldn't let me load it. After I shut down the anti-phishing filters, scanning filters, and all the other unnecessary actions, it works now...so I'm catching up on everything....onto the news....
HAPPY 77TH BIRTHDAY POP!!!!!!!!!!!
Pop is a man that doesn't come around very often. When I first met Pop, he was talking about people from Ohio being hillbillys. Danny laughed and told Pop that I was from Ohio...Pop said, "Well, not you of course." Made me love him all the more. He loves life and living it to the fullest. He loves spending time with the family and loves his NASCAR. He's gruff and looks inapproachable, but then the smile comes out and he'll talk your ear off with stories of the past. The kids say you could be talking to him and he'll get on a particular story and they'll leave and come back five minutes later and he'll still be talking about it. They love him and he's such an integral part of our lives. We might not see him much, but he's thought about every day. He's Danny's mentor and he when he needs advice, Pop is the first person to call...whether it's about the falling house market, the impending recession, rising oil and gas prices, or to find out a particular motor in a car. So Pop, even though we couldn't be there, we were thinking of you. WE LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!!!!
