Dog Days Of Summer

The summer went by fast. Of course if you ask the kids, it could've went by slower. Amber spent most of her time in Florida, and her workweek starts back again on the 11th, the same as the boys going back to school. Brian spent his summer working and Patrick spent his summer break with his girlfriend, Summer, at the house. Needless to say they have mixed feelings about going back to school in 5 days. Patrick should be happy, at least he won't be hot in the middle of the day, as he'll be in the air conditioning. The only thing I'll be dreading is the phone calls from the school telling me Patrick's pants aren't up high enough or something to that effect. Amber will be dreading working in back drive thru in Micky D's and Brian will be happy as he'll be out of school around noon for work. Things will slowly get back into the groove of things, hopefully. All in all it was a good summer. Some things I wish would have lasted longer, some things could have turned out better, and we could have finished with our lawsuit with the other house, but that's still ongoing.
