Every year here at Hillside Farms we have Farm Day on the last Saturday in October and that night we have the Haunted Corn Maze, which lasts for the week of Halloween. Many people think...wow, heading through a maze of corn. Let me tell you, people hide in the corn, Danny for instance, with air horns, chainsaws, without the chains of course, and any other kind of thing that makes noise and scares the crap out of you. It makes grown men scream like a little boy! Amber and Kyle, Brian and Kendal, and Patrick and Summer, and I all went and looked around during the farm day. They had their ethanol machine up and working, the old time corn huskers, and the machines to get the corn off the cob, and to make the corn into cornmeal. Crafts, the sorghum mill, and the restaurant. They had the old timers singing and playing bluegrass, music from the 50's and 60's and just some good old time fun. All of us came home, except Danny who was helping with the ethanol machine and getting ready to scare people, and got ready. After dark we all went back and went through the maze for a good 2 hours and still didn't find ourselves going through all of it. We got scared, we heard people screaming...needless to say, we're gonna have to go back to see the rest.

I thought my makeup was pretty good...I was a beatup or dead FGCU student...thanks Mom for the shirt! Patrick did his and Summers makeup, and their friend Josh, he did his. Amber just had some makeup on and so did Kendal, and Brian was a prisoner from Clemson University...his mask, the joker, he gave to Danny so he could scare people in the corn maze.
