A New Addition

Last Sunday we ended up with a new addition to the family....well a little more than part time addition, but a little less than a full time addition. It started with what I thought was Paws sitting on the porch railing, but I looked over and saw her laying on the porch swing. I yelled at the cat to get off the porch, but noticed she kept coming more and more towards us instead of away from us. Then I noticed that one eye was green and one was purple. I slowly went over and picked her up and found out the purple eye is an eye she can't see out of. She either got into a fight with an animal or she was hit and her eye sliced open. She's totally blind out of it. Danny named her One Eye and she's been staying here more and more often. The other cats, Bobbie, Poison and Paws have accepted her, finally, and will allow her to drink and eat instead of making her wait until last. Even Hurricane doesn't bark at her...well that doesn't say anything though, she was barking at Paws today while Paws was playing with a chair outside. In other animal news, Hurricane has a really annoying habit of being like a child and waiting until you are talking on the phone or with someone in person before she starts barking in a high pitched voice...(that can make you lose your sanity almost instantly). Dixie can no longer climb out of her cage....Brian and I finally stopped that. Raskull and Rebel still can't be in the same cage or within 5 feet of the other before they'll attack each other, and Smacky is still Smacky...tried to bite your fingers off if you have pizza crusts to give her. Now, if I can teach them not to bark at the deer at the bottom of the hill or the cat they see every night, I'll be a happy camper.
