Cats are Creative

Over the last 3 weeks it's been fun watching Paws with her kittens. After a week beside the front door, she took them down into the grass by the porch where the puppies wouldn't try to sleep in her box with her and the kittens. Then we had some rain and she moved them under the porch to keep them from getting wet. After a good dousing a week and a half ago, I looked under the porch and they were gone so I went searching for them. I found them in the trunk of my Cadillac. Two days later I hear meowing on the porch and Amber informs me that Paws has taken them up on the porch roof. Yep, she had 3 up there, so I took them back down and put them back in the Cadillac. About 4 days ago, as we were showing some people Dixie's puppies, I saw Paws come out of Danny's metal shed...the sliding doors stay open about 6 inches...and after the people left I went over there and looked inside...sure enough the kittens were there. We have hay for Lady in there and the kittens and Paws seem to like the bedding. I figure they should stay there, but if not, the search will be on again.
