So hard to believe that Patrick's first day of school this year puts him at a Senior in high school. I remember his first day of kindergarten and him not wanting to go, and me crying the whole way back to work and Diana telling me not to worry, that everything will be fine. She also said that time will pass fast and before I know it he will be in high school. Well, she was right, but it's so hard to believe that he'll be graduating in 9 months.
His senior pics were taken and his Dad and I weren't too happy because he wore his eyeliner...he said he had to be himself, and that's who he was. Then, last week, he gave us an even bigger surprise....( I know, what could be bigger than eyeliner, right?)...well, he came home with his hair dyed black....yes, BLACK! It's starting to wash out. He was mowing the grass yesterday and it was so hard to see him with black hair instead of blonde.....hopefully it washes out really fast.
Patrick, I do hope this year that I don't have to be at the school as much, I hope that your grades stay up and there's no staying after school for make up classes. Good luck your senior year!
