Since the kids and my husband still haven't gave me "The Wizard Of Oz" as a gift so far, I was flipping through channels when it came on TBS the other night. Danny, being the funny man of movies, was watching it with me and making commentaries as it was playing. First, he was certain that it was all in color because that's the way he remembered it. Then came when he was making fun of all the people in the "cyclone" and then Danny having to ruin it all by saying that there's no way that Dorothy could see the people in the twister. As the house fell into Munchkinland and it pans to Dorothy walking outside, he exclaimed, "Where's all the Oompa Loompas?" I had to explain, between fits of laughter, that they were Munchkins, not Oompa Loompas...Danny then told me they were the same thing....which I had to explain that Munchkins were funny dressed people with flowers on their shoes and Oompa Loompas had orange skin and funny colored eyebrows. Thank goodness for DVR's because I was able to record it and watch it tonight, since I wasn't able to watch the whole movie that Danny and I started.
