Crazy BFF's and Family

The last time I saw my bestest crazy friend, Kimmenstein, was July of 2009 for about 2 hours. We were at another best friend's son's birthday party. I got to meet Omar there, who I had never met before, and I finally had the chance to hold her little girl Jennifer. We talk on the phone alot, not as much as we'd like, but with work for her, and the kids not giving me messages from her, what can we do? Anyhow earlier in the year she told me that she was going to try and come up after her son was born. I was ecstatic. Since I can't have any more kids, why not spoil hers???? Plans were slowly being made, and all the while, I kept thinking, yeah, there's no way this is really going to happen....something's gonna come up to where she's going to have to call off the trip. A few weeks before she came up, she told me that they were definately coming up, but Omar wasn't sure if he was...first it was yeah, then it was no, then it was yeah, then it was no. Well, in the meantime we had puppies. One of them, Klondike, a little girl, Kim's stepmom and Dad had taken a liking to and said that they wanted to have her and Kim was going to bring her home when they came back from our house...that's when I knew they definately would be coming up here. We figured out a place where she would call and I would go meet her, I was so excited. She finally got here, and we had a blast. Omar was great...the kids and Danny really liked him a lot....and I can say he's like a brother to me. Danny fell in love with the kids....Jennifer was his Princess and James was his Little Buddy. We went to Crow Creek, Stonewall Falls, Hillside Orchard Farms..(they have animals over there), Black Rock in Mountain City, so we could look over Clayton, Mountain City, and Tiger, and see South Carolina to the East of us...didn't think we'd be able to make it there because it was really cloudy and the clouds were obscuring the mountain, but they cleared up....we also went to Tallulah Falls Overlook, and we had a special early birthday celebration for me...complete with Snicker's Cake, Steak, Sweet Hawaiian Bread, and presents! I have to tell you, when they left 2 days later, a part of me went with them...I didn't want them to go. I know it will be a while before I see them again, but we'll just have to revert back to the work schedule and the missed messages from the kids! Here's our adventures!!!!!
