It seems like only yesterday that I brought home this little baby. I remember how she hated to sleep in her bed, and she'd lay one the floor in front of the closed bedroom door and fall asleep that way. A lot of nights we'd have to figure out how we'd get in the room with her laying there. She loved her Fruit Loops...she'd eat them out of the bowl without milk and if she didn't have them, you'd better get them. She had to have macaroni and cheese for lunch when she was older. It was funny, but when I went to work, she wasn't allowed to be on the phone, and she knew I would check the redial button. That was fine with her. She took the base phone and would use the speaker phone. I came home for lunch one day and found her eating cheese popcorn, talking on the phone, and drinking a soda. I've never seen her hang up so fast!! She's grown a lot. Graduated high school, trying to save enough money for college, working hard and trying to get over her fears of driving in the mountains. She wants to save money for a car, and she wants to move back to Florida. She gets frustrated because she can't do it all. She's one of the many joys in my life. She also knows that all she has to do is ask me if I want cookies from McDonalds and we'll go when we have access to the truck! Amber, we love you very much. You have such a good heart and soul. People who meet you are blessed and we are truly blessed to have you in our life.
