Spring has Sprung!!!

Spring is here...well, that's what the calendar says anyhow. According to some news stations, we're expecting a 30% chance of snow on Sunday night or Monday. If it's gonna snow, then it needs to be a big snowfall, if not, then the nice weather can come with sun and springlike temps, bright blue skies and breezes. The trees are already in bloom, the birds are out in full force, thanks to the 50 pounds of birdfood I bought last night, so they are having a field day with it. Of course our pear tree is blooming because of the warm temps and, just like last year, we're gonna get a late frost and it's gonna kill all the baby pears on the tree. Oh, well, I like looking at the white flowers before the green leaves get here. You can see all the trees are starting to get their leaves...first red and yellow...such a pretty sight in the mountains!

This was taken last year, but it shows just how pretty the mountains are. Just like you can see forever. This was taken 3/4 of the way up on Screamer Mountain at a home we were looking at buying last year.
