Happy New Year!!!!!

As 2008 wound to a close, I sat at the computer and thought about everything that has happened, the good and the bad throughout this year. I realized that even though all my wishes didn't come true, some of them did. My family was somewhat healthy throughout the year, my children are happy, sometimes, with their girlfriends/boyfriend, Brian graduated, we did get a new vehicle, our vacation was 99% successful, we had a lot of puppies, some made it, some didn't have a chance. We are still trying to find "that perfect home or homesite" where we can finally settle down and make the rest of our lives. (We did look at 5 acres with "a place that needs a little work"......yeah, okay, the house was built in 1910, and would fit in half my house now. We'll just say the house was interesting, but the 5 acres has a great deal of potential. The only drawback, it's out in the middle of nowhere and my kids would hate me even more to move out there. Well, and we'd have to either build or bring in a home.)

I figure this year, my new year's resolutions are simple....
1.) Keep in touch more with family and friends.
2.) Train my dog NOT to bark when I get on the phone or sit at the computer...I don't wanna play "wrap the sock around your hand and let me jerk until it falls off or I'll sit and bark until you finally lose it!"
3.)Move to that new home or homesite so I can have my two lilac bushes and two weeping willows Danny said I could have.
4.) And last but not least, Pray every day that God watches out for my family and my friends to keep them safe from harm.

I hope this year proves to be a better year for everyone.
